Changes as a result of group formation
- Livelihood options of women increased to manifold
- Working hour of women increased from 5-6 hrs to 10-12 hrs
- Dependence on money lender for loan and bonded labour work is stopped
- Utilisation of SHG fund for the home consumption purpose
- Attitude of husband/male members of the family towards women changed
- Exposure to the SHG activities has increased the confidence level of women
- Savings on account of bulk purchase of grocery items

- Savings for women on the cost of vegetables and milk
- Women started keeping goat as an emergency asset during financial crisis period.
- Kitchen garden activities has made the fresh vegetables available at home all the time.
- Consumption of vegetable and milk by family members increased.
- Children have been encouraged to study higher classes.
- Improvement in the health of family members.

Over the period of time there is decrease in consumption of pulses and increase in consumption of vegetables. It may be due to easy availability of vegetables at home. Increase in price of pulse may be the reason for less consumption of pulses. Jowar roti consumption is reduced mainly due to lack of sufficient time for preparation of rotis and also due to availability of rice at cheaper rate in Public Distribution System.

There is sufficient saving on the cost of vegetable along with availability of fresh quality vegetables at their home.
Women have also saved considerable time on the purchase of vegetable from Gadag city.

Ganesh SHG members were facilitated to sell their produce through a marketing outlet called Wednesday Bazaar at Hulkoti village. This has immensely helped the SHG members to sell their products very easily and effectively.
Spider web diagram was used by the participants to identify position of different indicators viz., status of house, serving as a resource person, ability to spend in emergency, house hold articles possessed, productive assets possessed and recognition of the group over a period of time.
The spider web diagram drawn by the participants indicate impact of the programme before and after with respect to above mentioned indicators.
